Innotap Announces New SPP Realtime Service

King of Prussia, PA — April 1, 2014 — Innotap today announced the availability of its new SPP Realtime service for the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Regional Transmission Organization (RTO). This service is included as part of an ever expanding portfolio of software apps to facilitate better, faster decision making by its customers.

The SPP Realtime service provides power and commodity traders with an easy way to access and leverage all of the operational data they use to make decisions about trading in the SPP market.

On March 1, 2014, SPP successfully implemented its Integrated Marketplace which significantly expanded the functionality of this RTO to be a fully integrated market. At that time, Innotap engaged several of its customers to do a beta review of its new SPP Realtime service.

“We got great feedback from all beta participants, and found they were excited to have a tool on Day One to help them trade SPP, ” said Joe Mac Crory, VP of Innotap. “Traders count on our expertise to give them the information they need, when they need it.”

Ron Swartz, Founder and CEO of Innotap, said, ”The extremely positive reaction we’ve gotten to this new offering is further confirmation of how much our customers appreciate Innotap’s apps for presenting, organizing, and alerting on key market conditions.”

Innotap invites energy traders to request a demo so they can experience firsthand the power of its software services. Please visit www.innotap.com/new.
