Ron Swartz
Founder and CEO
Over the past 30 years, Ron has applied his innovation methodology to envision and deliver several strategic business solutions in the Energy, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Financial Services industries.
In 2000, Ron led the development of VizTrade, a physical trading and scheduling system for Power Team, the wholesale power marketing division of Exelon. In 1994, Ron founded Liquent to develop CoreDossier, a commercial electronic assembly and publishing system that ensures companies in the Life Sciences industry comply with regulatory requirements worldwide.
In his current role as Founder and CEO, Ron leads Innotap in its mission to provide realtime energy traders with the ability to easily access, visualize, process, analyze and exploit large amounts of data and information as fast as possible in realtime so they always lead the market. Ron has a master's degree in computer science from Villanova University and bachelor's degree in computer science from Temple University.
Moon Chung
Founder and Vice President
Software Development
With over 22 years in software development, Moon has led and contributed to the successful delivery of several large, complex software products, where he has been actively involved in all phases of development including architecture, design, development, deployment and maintenance.
Moon was President and Senior Consultant of Moon Chung Consulting for almost 3 years where he created and delivered publishing and data consolidation and reporting solutions. He was also a principal developer and architect for Liquent for over 8 years; and senior developer at Dialog Information Services for nearly 5 years.
In his current role as Vice President, Software Development, Moon leads the design, development, delivery and maintenance of software products for Innotap’s customers. Moon has completed graduate studies in computer science at Villanova University and earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from University of Texas at Austin.
Joe Mac Crory
Vice President
Product Management and Business Development
With over 30 years of experience in the utilities and wholesale power marketing industry, Joe has been involved in all aspects of power trading, including competitive market analysis, hedging and proprietary trading in energy markets, trading strategies and model development, and risk management.
Over the past 17 years, Joe founded and led several energy trading companies, including Exelon's Power Team where he spent almost 7 years as a Senior Energy Trader, trading every US Power market on the hourly, next day and financial trading desks, and developing internal software tools that enhanced realtime decision making to optimize deal execution. From 1982 to 1995, Joe held various positions at PECO Energy in Accounting, Operations, and EMS implementation and support.
In his current role as Vice President, Product Management and Business Development, Joe manages Innotap’s product portfolio, leading on-going product development cycles and driving relationships with customers and partners to conceive, build, and deliver world class products to the market. Joe has a bachelor’s of science degree in management information systems from Saint Joseph’s University.
Vinny Salvati
Director
Infrastructure, Quality Assurance and Support
With over 16 years of experience in technical services, quality assurance and customer support in the wholesale power marketing industry, Vinny has been involved with a multitude of Information Technology projects and all phases of the software development life cycle.
Vinny joined Exelon in 2000 to help establish the QA process and helpdesk support team. For almost 12 years, Vinny directly contributed to the successful development, testing, deployment, maintenance and support for a multitude of complex energy trading applications.
In his current role as Director, Infrastructure, Quality Assurance & Support, Vinny oversees the critical resources required for Innotap’s development and operations, delivering the highest quality of software services possible, and maximizing customer satisfaction. Vinny has a BS in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University.
Jeong Kim
Principal Developer
With over 9 years of experience in software development, Jeong has led and contributed to the successful delivery of multiple commercial products.
Jeong was a senior developer at UBS Investment Bank for 2 years where he created realtime equity and derivatives trading applications. He was also manager at Image Solutions (acquired by CSC) for almost 4 years where he developed commercial software products for pharmaceutical regulatory control.
In his current role as Principal Developer, Jeong leverages his client/server development expertise to lead the design and engineering of realtime, high performance software services. Jeong has a master’s degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and bachelor’s degree in mathematics from POSTECH.
