Ron Swartz
Founder, President & Chief Innovator
Over the past 30 years, Ron has applied his innovation methodology to envision and deliver several strategic business solutions in the Energy, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Aerospace, and Financial Services industries.
In 2000, Ron led the development of VizTrade, a physical trading and scheduling system for Power Team, the wholesale power marketing division of Exelon. In 1994, Ron founded Liquent to develop CoreDossier, a commercial electronic assembly and publishing system that ensures companies in the Life Sciences industry comply with regulatory requirements worldwide.
In his current role as Chief Innovator, Ron leads the innovation process—generating and commercializing novel ideas that enhance realtime decision making and ensure exceptional user experience—and manages the evolution of Innotap’s products. Ron has a master's degree in computer science from Villanova University and bachelor's degree in computer science from Temple University.
Moon Chung
Founder, Vice President & Chief Developer
With over 22 years in software development, Moon has led and contributed to the successful delivery of several large, complex software products, where he has been actively involved in all phases of development including architecture, design, development, deployment and maintenance.
Moon was President and Senior Consultant of Moon Chung Consulting for almost 3 years where he created and delivered publishing and data consolidation and reporting solutions. He was also a principal developer and architect for Liquent for over 8 years; and senior developer at Dialog Information Services for nearly 5 years.
In his current role as Chief Developer, Moon leads the design, development, delivery and maintenance of software products for Innotap’s customers. Moon has completed graduate studies in computer science at Villanova University and earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from University of Texas at Austin.
Kent Close
Vice President, Engineering
Over the past 17 years, Kent has led engineering initiatives for the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of several large software systems. He has hands-on experience working across multiple industries including Energy, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Advertising, and Pharmaceuticals.
Starting in 2000, Kent served for 7 years as the QA Lab Manager and Engineer for over 30 complex software applications, including the Viztrade physical trading and scheduling system for Power Team, the wholesale power marketing division of Exelon. His most recent role was Environment Coordinator for the Advanced Control Center (AC²) initiative at PJM.
In his current role as VP Engineering, Kent leads the development and operations of Innotap's systems infrastructure, quality assurance, and support services. Kent earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University.
