PJM Interconnection to Shut Down Virginia Coal Plant
A spokesman for PJM Interconnection told the Rocky Mount Telegram the 116-MW coal-fired Edgecombe Genco will be shut down in October 2020.
The plant, formerly known as Cogentrix of Rocky Mount, was originally constructed in 1990.
